Racial Microaggressions

As a part of my senior capstone, I chose a topic of interest to research. I did mine on the effects of racial microaggressions on the academic success of high school students. Although my research was inconclusive due to the flaws in the research method, I learned a lot about how I can improve next time as well as what encapsulates racial microaggressions.

Things I've learned:

1) Racial Microaggressions are divided into: Microassaults, microinsults, and microinvalidations.

2) Make survey questions as specific to the thesis as possible.

3) It's best to proctor a survey in order to get accurate results.
