My goal is to create a safe environment for my students in order to foster theatre skillsets that will prepare them for the real world. They will develop collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity through leadership responsibilities in the classroom and in after school productions. I want them to feel so comfortable with the information I teach them that they will have the confidence to jump into any show and be able to act on stage or work on crew. Theatre is unique in that it is a gateway for students to practice empathy, independent learning, problem solving, and punctuality, as well as many other 21st century skills that employers look for in today's society.
