I had the opportunity to Assistant Direct Carnegie Vanguard High School's 2018 UIL show, Speaking in Tongues by Andrew Bovell, and we placed 5th at State.

Things I've learned:

1) Students will rise up to any challenge you give them if they feel supported and invested.

2) All fight scenes should be safe in order for the students to feel safe.

3) Tech time goes very fast, so have a plan and stick to it.
